Health Advice

  • Love yourself. Love your body, its component parts, the various organs that contribute to your health: heart, kidneys, pancreas, nervous system, liver, etc. Feel gratefulness for all of them.
  • Get rid of whining, complaints, and resentment. Unpleasant thoughts bring toxins to the body, deteriorate health, tire the heart, raise the blood pressure and sugar level. Hapiness is the best prerequisite for health.
  • The calm and sober person, who lives with awareness and mental alertness, acts as if attracting health and bringing it near himself or herself.
  • Take care of your good mood and psychology. That’s where everything starts! Everything! Really everything! People with sorrows, divorced, with mourning, self-rejection, melancholy, and depression, have great trouble. They’re hungry for love and thus consume… starches and desserts!
  • When your morale is low regarding your nutrition and health, or you have a low psychology, listen to this talk of ours about nutrition and good psychology. Perhaps it will help you to a certain degree.
  • Start your day by eating something, even a bit! — two toasted slices of bread, or a fruit. Don’t leave your stomach empty. It doesn’t help your health at all.
  • Eat at specific hours; not whenever you remember it. Snacks at irregular times are hazardous to health! — unless the snacks are sticks of raw carrot, celery, or cucumber.
  • Keep eating with calmness, without quarrels or high tension.
  • Keep drinking water; every once in a while, and a bit. Drink 8-10 glasses per day; not all at once, but spread evenly throughout the day.
  • In the evening, the sooner you finish your dinner the better. The body calms and slows down at night, so leave it calm and don’t overload it with food, especially fatty food. It makes a huge difference to eat low-fat yoghurt from eating a whole hamburger!
  • Cook in simple ways. Add condiments, spices, and herbs, which add flavor and nice taste, but not weight and fat.
  • Prefer food lacking fat: fish, chicken breast, turkey, beef fillet.
  • Love salad: its variety, its colors, and its plentifulness. Fill up one plate with salad and accompany the meat with it; don’t do the opposite! If you don’t consume salad, you’ll be forced to feel full with fattening foods, suach as bread, spaghetti, desserts, pizzas, etc.
  • Beware of qualms and guilt after some mistake of yours. You are only a human, so you will err. Don’t correct your errors with new ones. Someone said: I went astray with my food, I was full of qualms, and due to my guilt I ate a pack of chocolate bars! Don’t do that to yourself! Listen to your body that secretly tells you: “Love me!”
  • If you must order delivery foods, do it only once per week. Such foods have plenty of saturated fats, salt, sugar, and calories; and they are harmful; plus you spend more money. This all doesn’t help your health.
  • Love the movies, books, music, walking, jogging, and human relations. They are beneficial to health, to well-being, to longevity. Love is an adversary to fats; it enchants and strengthens.
  • Run, walk, go up the stairs, enroll in the gym, jog in the streets of your neighborhood, take the dog out for a walk, get up from the couch, do some activity, abandon restfulness and motionlessness. Become animated, lively, energetic!
  • Be always well. And remember that you are worthy of a beautiful life, with happiness, tranquility, and joy. Do something to achieve it. All good things come to those who open their arms and make their bodies and existence receptive to this happiness.
